What an adorable little shop! We found this spot walking around after a meal at Mader's. There are SO MANY spice blends here, and the smell when you walk into the store is absolutely amazing. I went in with zero intentions of buying any spices, and walked out with half a dozen. They have spice blends for any possible application that you can think of- meats, pizza, baking, teas, cocoas. There's like ten different colors of salt alone. I appreciate, as someone from Chicagoland, that a lot of the spice blends are named after Chicago neighborhoods or landmarks. I ended up with a vanilla sugar, za'tar, apple pie blend, Back of the Yards blend, & Greektown Mediterranean blend.
I'm happy to see there's one in Evanston and that they have a website, no doubt I'll be back in the future.
